Tickets

We advise anyone wishing to attend a screening to purchase tickets before they visit the Regal Cinema.  Tickets are available online via this website or by calling the cinema on 01425 652602.  If screenings are not sold out tickets are available on the door but to avoid disappointment, we recommend a prior purchase.

Ticket holders must be able to either present a print out of their ticket, which will have been emailed to them, or if they have a smart phone they can display their confirmation email on their mobile device.

Food & Drink in The Cinema Policy

All food and drink sales help to sustain the cinema as a community facility. Accordingly, only food and drink purchased at The Regal Cinema Bar can be consumed in the cinema auditorium or bar area - and this is a condition of entry. We deliberately do not charge extortionate multiplex prices for snacks & drinks. Water is always available free of charge from the bar.

Additionally, some food previously brought into the auditorium has caused damage to our seating and carpets so we have ensured that all items on sale in the bar are 'safe' for consumption in the auditorium. Please avoid the embarrassment of our volunteers having to challenge and exclude cinema visitors who ignore this condition.

Bar

The bar at The Regal is an elegant, relaxing place to meet friends for a drink before a screening.  It is only open when there is a screening or event.  A wide range of hot and chilled drinks are served by volunteer staff.  These include tea, coffee, cappuccino, espresso, hot chocolate, local ale and spirits, cider, wine, and soft drinks.

We also have a small range of snacks including New Forest ice cream, popcorn, cinema-safe confectionary such as chocolate Minstrels, Haribo sweets & wine gums for children or those with a sweet tooth.

The bar will open 30 minutes before the advertised screening time of the film. All drinks purchased from the bar can be taken into the auditorium. We politely ask for you to bring your empty glasses, cans & bottles out of the auditorium at the end of the screen for collection by a waiting volunteer.

Car Parking

We ask that all members and their guests visiting The Regal park vehicles legally and in public car parking spaces. There are two public car parks in Fordingbridge, the central car park is only 100 meters away from The Regal at the end of Bartons road. Please see the map.

Opening Times

The Regal is open exclusively during scheduled screenings. Doors open 30 minutes before the advertised start time, giving you plenty of opportunity to check in, relax, and enjoy a drink at the bar before taking your seat. We remain open for just a short time after the film and would request that guests make their way home shortly after the screening in order to allow the volunteers to clean up promptly.

Arriving on time: Please allow plenty of time for parking and arrival. To give everyone the best possible experience, our main features and event screenings commence promptly within 5 minutes of the advertised start time. A quick note on trailers: unlike commercial multiplexes, our trailers and previews are shown in the run-up to the advertised start time, not afterwards - so please do arrive early so you have a chance to get some refreshments and to ensure you don't miss the start of the film!

We do have office hours, but due to our very small team they vary from week to week. If you would like to arrange a visit please contact the office on 01425 652602 or info@theregalcinema.org for advice on our opening hours.
